Nordic Ground Vibration Day (NGV) is a Nordic one-day conference on ground vibrations in a
geotechnical context. It brings researchers and practitioners together to share experiences in
measurement, modeling, and mitigation of ground vibrations.

NGV has previously been arranged in Oslo 2012, Aalborg 2014, Stockholm 2016, Trondheim 2018 and Århus 2022. The participants of the conference are those with an interest in measurements and modeling of ground vibrations as well as experts working on reducing ground vibrations. The conference serves as a meeting place for academics, engineering consultants, contractors, manufacturers and others with a common interest in ground vibrations.

In keeping with the tradition of previous events, the sixth Nordic Ground Vibration Day will be held in a historic university city, this time Lund in the south of Sweden.
